A team from WSP Environment & Energy, one of the leading environmental engineering firms, will run a workshop on the best way of achieving carbon reductions and the relative trade-offs of on-site or off-site renewable energy.
The session will cover issues relating to Water Use, Energy Use, Heat, Waste and Lifestyle. It will explore:
- How to achieve successful mixed use and mixed tenure schemes
- How to provide adequate local amenities
- How establishing public transport and good land use patterns can help make growth sustainable
